Want to kill two birds with one stone? You can learn about the hundreds of creatures that live in Clark County’s Wetlands Park Nature Preserve. And you can take your dog on this guided tour! It’s called the Woof Walk.
Bensley, my Labradoodle, told he he wants to learn all about those animals from the docent. He says he can’t wait to pee all over the desert scrub until we get to the hilltop viewing area. Bensley is a big fan of rushing water. And he says he doesn’t care that we can marvel at the jet liner view of the Las Vegas Strip from up there.
Want to join us, Las Vegas dog owners? Then show up at the Wells Trailhead at 10 am. The Woof Walk usually lasts two hours. Plan to walk at least two miles.
You do have to sign up. Go to www.ccwetlandspark.com.
Oh, and you can bring your kids too.
P.S. The Wells Trailhead is off Galleria Drive.
